Cheok Keuw Bridal started their business in 1959. Their first shop was located at a village in Lim Chu Kang and relocated to Jurong in 1985. Cheok Kew Bridal sells auspicious wedding items, from wooden clogs and kerosene lamps given as dowry or betrothal presents during traditional Chinese wedding, to sewing kits, red hongbao packets and bright red washbasins. Some of the more traditional items that they still provide are, Mu Jiu Lian(母舅聯) she ban tie(舌板貼) qing tie (請帖), Hong Cai(紅彩). The current shop which is 350 sq ft shop is one of the key attractions of Hong Kah Point neighbourhood centre.
